Hi, sorry but it's not Weyland himself.. he got a different nose.. And he seems have a tatoo on his crane, might be a minor or excavation/dynamitor-man specialist... The balls might be: - Explosive - environemental scanners - disco balls ;) By the way, the traject that the ball follows is like there is electromagnetic field that have attact up those globes ...

Weyland probably would choose the most inopportune time to start playing with his balls (while still listing off technological innovations he had nothing to do with). EUREKA! THE ANAL PLUG! :P However: Peter Weyland is played by Guy Pearce...that's not Guy Pearce...thus, it's not Peter Weyland. It looks like Sean Harris/Fifield, who judging by his rather unfortunate head tattoos, may be a mercenary (or some kind of excavation specialist as mentioned above) - and judging by his hair, he may be the thing leaping off of the car in the teaser.

I don't think Weyland has a mohican & tattoos on the side of his head like this dude.

I agree, the guy holding the balls is not Guy Pearce. I'm guessing that the orbs/spheres are some sort of surveying tool. I think he's holding them up to release them down the different passageways. I can see them mapping and scanning as they go, and then return telemetry to the crew. Somewhere along the way they will stop working and some poor unsuspecting crewmember will need to go all by themselves to see what happened to the device.

Has it been identified who the Mohawk guy is? I'm gonna throw my hat in and say its Emun Elliott, looks a lot like him to me from some pics on IMDB. Anyone else agree?

No. As some have mentioned here, it definitely does seem to be Sean Harris. He played a particularly nasty role as Ian Brady, the Moors Murderer. It will be interesting to see what kind of character and performance he gives to this film.
