MemberOvomorphMar-15-2012 4:52 PMHi everyone!
As we all know, Guy Pearce plays Peter Wetland in Prometheus (year 2073) ...However, he also plays Peter Weyland in the TED talk (2023)...
the viral site says that he was born in 2000, so, he is 23 years old in the TED talk, and 73 years old in Prometheus...and he is played by the same person in both?
Is it a mistake...or something proposital to make us think...?
Have you heard of phoenix asteroids?

MemberOvomorphMar-15-2012 5:21 PMMust admit when I saw this I thought he looked more like 43 than 23. I know its difficult to make someone look younger as opposed to older but just doesnt quite fit.

MemberTrilobiteMar-15-2012 5:50 PMAllegedly Peter Weyland suffers from the same aging affliction that J F Sebastien had in Bladerunner. Also there was talk a while back that Guy Pearce wore prosthetics in the movie, and we all assumed this to be something fancy, but its possible the prosthetic is to make him look old (yes I'm suggesting the old guy in the wheel chair is Peter Weyland).
