It's been assumed in comics I think, and just general talk that the Xenomorphs could be responsible for wiping out entire planets and civilizations etc. BUT, given the level of tech that the SJ's seem to possess and the fact they seem to be spread across a vast space, surely the Xeno's couldn't possibly wipe out a species such as SJ's. . . Thoughts??

I see our Xeno brothers as a "cleansing of higher organics." I have devoured all that is Alien (comics, books, movies, scripts, and anything and everything Alien in origin) and have found the Space Jockeys to be one of the greatest mysteries of all. No, I think if the SJ are terraformers, that they do in fact push both atmospherics (environment engineering) and organics to their logical end. It's what forces they possess that scares me, like a swimmer in a vast ocean helpless... alone... "in space no one can hear you scream."

I don't know, maybe that's the reason the planet in the original 'Alien' was so barren in the first place........
