Regardless, all we know from the first screencap is someBODY someWHERE someTIME is gray and has blackish "veins" growing on him while he stands over a colossal waterfall and quite possibly under a saucer. Beyond that, we simply don't know. In fact, this scene seems to be the most different and removed of the rest of the images.

One thing... the SJ towering over Shaw is really not that big, he is not as big as they are depicted anywhere else in the movie, could it be another crew-member? Weird as he looks just like a SJ, but is way smaller... Annoying, as i really don't like the thought of the crew mutating into SJ's.

Scott did joke about the presence of Pearce in the movie .... S) Shaw have something removed from her belly...and it really look like a young xeno ( is different but the shape is very like kane's child ) Q) which was the cause of the hate of the Sjs against humans ? S) the "temple" hide a SJs ship ...and it seems that this spaceship have the mission to destroy earth ...or something like that Q) David is very enigmatic ..his role is really a mistery S) Shaw is the main character ..by far ... Q) the monster ...the monsters ...stil alot of shapes ...mutations ..not a real deal S) the space jockey on the chair was a biomechanical suit covering , very probably , a mutated man/android

As I mentioned in an earlier thread... and I might say was howled down for it...lol. I reckon Shaw is going to be impregnated, either deliberately or accidently by whatever is in the ampules. Whatever is birthed or removed from her will become the first xeno of the humanoid strain. Bio mechanic Im with you on everything else. Good work

This whole "ancient aliens" theme that will be in use for prometheus reminds me very strong on AVP 1....I mean the whole plot is somewhat similar :) Ancient pyramid-like temple, a crew is send there to investigate, many cultures referring to the star-map, meeting with "gods" , explaining what happened thousand years ago,at the end things go wrong, only one woman survives....
