As I'm sure all of you saw the new trailer, I happen to notice something that greatly pleased me. Giger's infamous pyramid. I was hoping the Egg Silo or Pyramid would make an appearence in Prometheus! I always thought it a shame it didnt make it into Alien. I loved the idea that the Deelict was in some way conected with it and that the eggs originally were not inside the derelict craft, but actually in this massive structure. Beautiful design Mr Giger.

Its cool ridley is using an idea that didn't make it into the first alien, I wonder if there's a few more ideas he's going to include.

Check out the international trailer at 1:52. Something very small is apparently burrowing its' way into someone's eyeball. Just guessing that won't end well.

I too was pleased to see the pyramid and hieroglyphics in the trailer. I've been a huge fan since the beginning and always wondered how Alien would have turned out with those original concepts. I've been crossing my fingers that these geniuses (Ridley Scott and Damon Lindeloff) would use Giger's work to tie in these concepts I've been hearing about for thirty years...hopefully more nightmares to come.

Yes the original Silo would have taken it from being simply a crashed Alien ship to a whole new level. Was LV426 once a planet inhabited by a ecosystems, destroyed by the Aliens years before..... Perhaps we are about to find out. Perhaps the scenes in the trailer wher there are waterfalls and life is LV426 and the hovering ship is delivering eggs designed to wipe all life from the planet? Cant wait to find out what Ridley has in store....
