MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 9:04 PMHey guys,
I just had a thought, if you will indulge me.
The first password for projectprometheus.com was of an ancient site in Iraq - 'tell abu shahrain'. Well I looked at the international trailer again at its staring straight at me - Its at about 30 secs into it where you have Holloway talking about the ancient civilisations. Eridu cropped up just before that scene faded out. There were other ancient places mentioned - 'Mesopotamian, Aztec, Cave paintings from France'. The Mesopotamian city we've already figured out. So maybe if we can figure out the most prominent ancient city of the Aztec's, and whatever the name of that French cave is, those place-names might be new passwords for projectprometheus.com and might reveal new content. There seemed to be about 7 or 8 images that Holloway was presenting, each of a different civilisation. So that could be a possible 7 or 8 more passwords.
It's just a thought and I may be wrong, but I think that the international trailer holds a few clues...

MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 9:22 PMThe most prominent city of the Aztec was TENOCHTITLAN... It was located just where Mexico city is today...

Welcome to Skye, the Island and Lochalsh - Eilean a' Cheò.
Here the stark rise of the jagged Cuillin ridge drops to the gentle white of a soft sand beach.

MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 10:36 PMalso on the bottom of the pics, there is a light aqua circle. this is a map...the red dot is where the artifact was found. go to trailer 2 0:42 and you can see majority of the maps I am talking about. One of them was near Mexico like an aztec location. pinpoint the center of the red dot and you have it figured out.

MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 11:10 PM@TheSNARK: If you mean the ancient city of TEOTIHUACAN, that wasn't an ancient Aztec city, but a Toltec one...

TheSNARK
MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 11:18 PMGot that from the trailer. It's on the tablet before the Eridu one.

MemberOvomorphMar-21-2012 11:27 PM@TheSNARK: Well, for many years many archeologist thought the city of TEOTIHUACAN was a Toltec only city, but apparently it was a multi-ethnic city with people from different mesoamerican cultures like the Maya, the Totonac, Zapotec, Mixtec, etc... so maybe the Aztec also lived in there too... And since it was a very important and ancient city (even older than TENOCHTITLAN) then It could be considered also an important Aztec one.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 12:20 AMThe cave painting in France: Lascaux. Home to some of the oldest cave paintings (if not the oldest anymore) on earth. Someone try it for me. I can't get the project prometheus page to show the password entry field. (WTH?)
