How did he get a scar with his helmet on, and if he took his helmet off how did he breathe?

Cool so Holloway is unlikely to be the mutant jumping off the vehicle, it looks as if he is surrenduring when returning to the Prometheus.....

The marks on his face are from the mutation.

If this is Holloway : What happens to his beard? Does he get a shave in Space Jockey's bathroom?

I read other comments that the temple looks too close,or road was too short, but if you compare closest figure(holding flame thrower ) to farthest figure, the perspective is quit extreme, and the temple is HUGE!

It appears to be a similar pose to the way David stands in the star map room so I would not be surprised if this was David. My one question would be how Holloway gets his helmet back as we have seen it melt when he is sprayed with the liquid, gel, ooze (whatever you want to call it) before he ages (if it is him)....... So maybe he grabs a helmet from a downed crew member or the Engineers use their advanced technology to repair the helmet........

Maybe he is taken by the aliens and and they mess with him making him much older and then he returns to the prometheus but he is changed and changes into a squid I guess my theroy keeps getting shot down though

Old guy was Weyland

The reason it says 'holloway" on the name badge is nothing more sinister then he borrowed the deceased crew member's suit. They couldn't really keep a suit with the name 'Weyland' on it, hung up,with the other suits now could they? That would have been a bit of a giveaway to the rest of the crew. Ps holloway wasn't the guy had his helmet melted and subsequently returns to the ship is clearly Fifield. Considering u see weyland in the hologram, then see him in the flesh looking exactly the same, I would hazard a guess that he IS weyland, come on guys, stop reading so in between the lines, cuz Prometheus has no such depth. Sadly.
