MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 1:28 PMIt doesn't confirm anything that was part of the timeline released earlier.

MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 1:32 PMAnd the last entry in the time line, after the discovery of LV426:
"Based on recent classified findings by Weyland researchers, the company determines the exact coordinates of a new destination for long-time pet project: Project Prometheus."
NEW destination, not LV426 as discussed in many previous threads.

MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 1:33 PMthat Peter Weyland Facebook page is bogus, as in, everything written to it is BS and has nothing to do with the movie and the people behind the viral campaign.

MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 2:09 PMIn certain shots in the trailer you can see the Saturn like planet in the background. I think it probably takes place on a few different planets around this big planet. Maybe LV426...

MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 4:26 PMNo one knows. Anyone on either side is simple speculating.
Personally I think it is one of the sister moons to LV426. I've also started to not care. It's a planet. They are doing stuff on it. It probably won't lead directly to alien.
I think people need to start thinking of this like they think of star trek [many things happen and a huge universe] and less like connect the dots.

MemberOvomorphMar-26-2012 5:33 PMJust watched Alien last night. The ringed planet is in a different position in relation to the planet surface in that film. Possibly just because of orbit path and time of year, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's not LV-426 in Prometheus.

Co-AdminMemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 7:22 PMWell it would be a new discovery, since Alien takes place AFTER Prometheus........
