David's Head - SPOILERS

Plus another oddity: The Juggernaut ship is in a vertical position, yet Shaw walks in, on and out as it was in it's previous horizontal position. It would make sense if there was a Gravity cancel thingy inside the ship [that would clear David's positioning, but not the other bodies] and everything would remain exactly as it was.

Actually, I thought the same at first, but after seeing the film again I noticed that David's body and head are actually thrown to the base floor of the ship cockpit, off the elevated platform. However, something else I noticed, like you, is that the rest of the other dead crew members' and Weyland's bodies are not with David's, even though physics would suggest that after the way the Juggernaut crashes, that all the bodies would be thrown to one spot (the base) and remain there after the crash. Just my analysis.

David 8's head is now illegal in Las Vegas for being able to overcome Billion to one odds of landing in the same spot and in the same three dimensional space as before the crash. At David1 Nope, the Juggernaut fell over from it's vertical position to laying down in it's horizontal 'take off' position. Remember? That is how it fell on Shaw. It fell over sideways and landed back in it's original position as it was in it's 'hanger'.

If you type "plot" into the search engine you will get about 200 topics, mostly about 'plot holes' and inconsistencies in the film (most of which have been debunked). After seeing the film the second time it's fairly easy to see that not only David's position, and relationship to his body, but even hair-do have all changed with the crash just like they should. As for how Dr. Shaw could find David's head, all she needs to do is follow his voice in a large empty room. As for the other bodies, a camera shot only captures a few degrees of the field of everything in every direction, and gory dead broken bodies were most likely omitted on purpose due to unnecessary gore being a distraction. maybe even humorous, but certainly [img]http://s16.postimage.org/92m4v30jp/Innappropriate.png[/img]

lets look past the point of Davids head. wouldn't all those containers that had the black goo have been smashed up, wouldn't have there been a huge goo mess. and with the scene where there helmet hit the goo and well didn't take well to it. how would she have gotten into that room? but honestly who cares the movie rocked

You must care to post..... THe SJs.ship..well must be one heck of a ship to survive being attacked ..fall from the sky ..roll around..plop down in the dust....and still function without damage?? Can we be sure the Shaw David didn't use/find another working ship? It occurred to me maybe the 'U' shape design.was built to roll around a bit...but still to survive an in air collision with Prometheus,,,,is an accomplishment..

They did find and take off in another ship, it was mentioned earlier in the film there were 'many' ships.

Yes Indy john, Not only does David say there are other ships, it is inferred by the presence of more than one dome - a ship per dome

Did anyone...at anytime..set a 'warning beacon...' to alert others?? As far as David's head..it would be interesting to hear his version of what happenned before..during..and after the mid-air crash... and clear up the 'head' question starting this thread..

I think Shaw mentions a warning in her final 'last survivor' speech? I've really, really got to see it again...

The reason everything inside the ship remained in place is due to the artificial gravity compensator. If the ship experiences a sudden change of direction the gravity is increased to keep every unfixed object in place. Think of it as a seatbelt. :-)

David was in a different location. As for the others; we all know that psycho killers horde their victims in closets, usually upside down.
