Since Project Prometheus revealed that there was still three more images to unlock, I decided to snoop around the Weyland website. I looked at the investor information, and found nothing. I then decided to play around with the images found on the site, since I thought it was odd they wanted us to save them. THIS is what happened when I equalized the images, they looked like this: [img]http://imagehost.online-image-editor.com/images/27163746S4mdD/27163548mi3wGER.jpg[/img] [img]http://imagehost.online-image-editor.com/images/271644403kzpFs/27164420ASRtuBi.jpg[/img] Background patterns appeared, and the star map was altered. What could it be? I'm sure that there is one or more secrets hidden in those pictures, because it doesn't make sence to leave them as jpeg's. Something like that you would distribute as pdf. But I think that what you found is noise and artefacts from the video playing in the background, because they are made with print screen.

No print screen involved, the page asks you to "download for record keeping" for both files. I've also spent hours with a Hex Editor to see if there was something obvious in the jpg file... nothing yet. There must be another clue. Here we go again!

I know @Kronik, but i think the jpeg's on the page are created through print screens, by the people at weylandindustries.com.

I bet for the reward of hours of work someone will get a picture of the jockey's chair. The rewards for the amount of time put in seem so......lacking.

IMHO Zedwardson could be right, the problem is that the images have been manipulated (normalized) so we have 2 options: [list=1] [*] a bad algorithm enhancing noise as well as colours and there is no message in the pictures [*] a good algorithm that has revealed us some pattern in the steganography used [/list] Anyway we should analyze the ORIGINAL files and check the pixels, but without a hint on what to look for it could take very long.
