This time around I will not be jumping through the hoops that I did for Prometheus. I will be avoiding the viral campaign for now.

@Yeah exactly. I was very letdown by the movie. I wanted it to be as amazing as those viral clips but it wasn't. I want to see any and all future movies with no expectations.

I was expecting it to be paced more slowly, and to be more self-consciously "serious" rather than the wickedly sardonic take "everything" it turned out to be.....I was definitely surprised, but not disappointed. I think Scott actually holds an even dimmer view of humanity than did Kubrick, if that's possible.

Svanya, ...[i]TRILOGY[/i] (wrongly, deceptively) marketed as an [i]Alien prequel[/i]. Because they didn't wanna use the phrase "TV SERIES" ... not yet. PS: do we think the 10.11.12 site is already LIVE with (ahem) 'dead links'? ;)

I always view souce on stuff like this... never have turned up anything but you never know!

I dont care, we will see what will come, maybe something boring like DVD release or some new viral marketing blahblah... a trap, like always. Better they invest the money in better "story quality check" to prevent us from the sequel frustration...

It was clearly stated last year that Prometheus was going to be part #1 of a two-part Alien prequel. So if you want my 2-cents, the human sequences of Prometeus2 have (most likely) already been shot and the CGI folks down in New Zealand will probably finish off the special effects this summer for a theatrical release on October 11, 2012.

THAT WOULD BE THE SENSATION OF THE YEAR, DUDE! But i dont think so. NEVER in history in ONE year there were 2 parts of the same franchise. I expect sequel to come summer 2014 or later.
