I was just gonna post this one too ... He does actually fire something off (Elephant type Tranquilizer?) a few frames before the above shot ... Also ... If you scroll back-and-forth reasonably fast on this scene (Quicktime Player is the nuts for frame by frame) you'll notice she is shaking quite a bit while moving forward slowly ... does this suggest mind control by the creature? ... as in pulling her closer? ...

i think she might be infected, like how we saw Mohawk guy (do we know his name yet?) in the trailer preview shaking and getting taller as Scott directed him.

I think the "monster" is the blue guy.. The blue guy has normal hands, or hands that look human.

She's not under mind control.... It is quite possible they're making first contact and she's extremely terrified at the experience without any real reason except uncertainty.... The raised pistol could very well be a defensive precaution more than anything.... They don't know what they're dealing with.

Reminiscent of the attacks of the first Alien movie? She looks like she is already in trouble though, as though whatever it is is pulling her forward... Now, are we sure it is the blue guy's hands in there?

Do these creatures possess mind control or brain control? Bc brain control has been demonstrated at a recent invitation only dinner party and was proven more powerful than mind control.

I hope I'm wrong but for the shock effect that it will generate I think this the part where the actress playing the character of Ford as she stated gets eaten or maybe whatever that thing is (SJ perhaps) literately bites her head off!!
