New primal fear?

If asphyxiation and foreign hosts invading your body from the inside was a primal fear on the Alien series, what is going to be the one or ones in Prometheus? From the previews it seems that unwanted growth is a likely candidate, like cancer or tumors or something like that for example..."cut it off!..cut it off!..." seems to be shouted in one of the previews...

i think the whole mutation thing is one. instead of just being invaded by a parasite, something is changing you and taking your humanity away. that seems to be a huge fear of humans, and i cant even count how many series and movies i have seen where people talk about what makes someone human and how important it is and so on and fight anything that wants to take that away from them, even commit suicide if that is the only option. apparently its supposed to be so great even numerous non human things want to be human. pinnochio, androids, demons, and so on.

Has anyone mentioned the idea here, that a human is mutating , changing into something that could pretty much be the first step to the Xenomorph from Alien?
