If you can tie the Immaculate Conception to Jesus, good luck tying it to the Anunciation, Crucifixion, Burial, and Resurrection!

I am all for tying the Alien mythos into contemporary religion... the results would probably get the wrong people all hot and bothered however.

MemberOvomorphMar-29-2012 5:16 AMJudging from the importance given to iconography elsewhere in the trailers, IMO this similarity is intentional and purposeful. Possible meanings? What about depicting the Xenomorph as: (i) a son of God / the Gods?; and (ii) a creature that will be reborn (an omen in this case)?; or even (iii) an entity that will sacrifice itself for a higher purpose?
