Cloaking Space Jockey in new footage

From what I've seen(and heard) while watching this scene, I think it's one of the explorers getting caught in the "cloaking" system, trying to run and ending up vaporized(hence the scream heard in the trailer at this point).

It looks a bit like the lazer light covering the eggs in the original film now that I think about it.

I think it's Neo running after Morpheus.

Isn't it a 3D hologram playback image of a being which those red laser scanner balls pick up in the tunnels?

Could be something else entirely remember the blue hologram space joks around David?

If that's a cloaking device its a pretty terrible cloak - not only can I see the guy, he's GLOWING. It's probably the same tech as the hologram maps.

I'm pretty sure the image of the guy disappears while the background does not. Looks like cloaking.

It looks to me as if it's one of the crew running from something (running is "too human" to be a Space Jockey or a xenomorph wanabe...) and someone is watching in a sonar like screen. IMAO

Msepsis, I think it's the hologram layout of the tunnel system being viewed by the remaining crew on board the ship while the scout party are actually in there. Probably some early warning system to enable the crew on the ship to notify the explorers that there are potentially dangerous situations/individuals in there with them.

It's a hulking great male form running through there.

Why does it looks as if the figure is running straight through a wall?

It looks like whatever is running it's wearing some kind of clothing/uniform and at the very least the left arm of that uniform is missing/torn off/disintegrated.

If you actually pay attention to the image properly you will notice everything is granulated heavily and heavily resembles an ultrasound image. More than likely the probe is in a dark location and uses a sonar type application to scan the environment. Hence the lack of detail of the entire image not just the running person. In the original movie they used a "Motion Detector" that was re-used in Aliens, its probably a highly advanced version of that.

@ZetaReticuli What about the planet hologram thingy David is examining, there are 3 SJ's in that hologram too. Maybe it is a playback of some sort of event on board the derelict. I believe this is part of that "hologram"

Definitely one of the bald humanoids. The build and the way the out fit covers all but head and hands.

A playback of some previous event on the derelict sound the most plausible to me. Although, I find it hard to believe Ridley would go that way so not sure.

Well the hieroglyphs on the Pods look like Predator ones......? Maybe its the Predator lol. Doubt it but could be a nod to Predator that the Space Jockey can Cloak, but still the Mystrey remains about how the Glyphs on the Pods look nothing like those found on the other Space Jockey Archtecture
