i'm an artist, fine art to be exact. but i do graphic design (or try to) for a living i dropped out of the 8th grade though. not much of a brain here. sorry

I knew there were space geeks here :) NASA...that's...awesome. I myself am a vet student. So not very bright about anything other than medicine. :)

In my spare time I sculpt and watch/Sci Fi anything. I like this board. Nice meeting everyone.

I sell vitamins and nutritional supplements, teach photography and I fairly geek out on science, fiction, movies and, of course, science fiction movies. I find it difficult to believe anyone can be more excited about this film than I. Though I know that is probably the case. But man I AM PSYCHED!!!!!

I'am a Cop with 8+ years on the force and an avid photographer when ever time allows it, and I do play video games sometimes like Mass Effect and Skyrim, and no I don't live with my parents just wife and kids.

I'm in school to become a certified personal trainer.. Fitness.. I know... Who would've thought. Haha I make websites as a hobby / side job.

I'm a project manager for a cable hauling company installing Australia's National Broadband Network. I also live in my own place and love video games :-P and Star Wars (the originals that is) and I'm currently building my own Jedi lightsaber :-D

2nd year Psychology student, with a literary Background (I passed my Literary Bac examinations with 2 specialities Reenforced english and art candidat libre which I passed with a 19/20 & a 17/20.) I am the president of the university's radio, which is involved in communicating information from the local Hospital' dispensary to students wanting to be on air and also supervise two theatre classes. I teach english in my spare time. But you should check out my Parents' references first: My mum worked for more than 5 years at disney, involved in the camera work of films like Mulan and Tarzan, while my father met Idries Sha, Doris Lessing, and played the double base for the British and Holland's Queen in two national orchestras. He even went to Poland during the cold war.

I.T. Manager ... I'm a Techno-Geek ... love designing Electronics ... into computers, audio/visual/vfx, CAD, graphics, design & building websites, etc, everthing I.T. basically ... love Sci-Fi in a BIG way ... a big Gamer too, currently Gears of War 3 (Xbox) ... and last but not least (yep in that order lol) keeping my girlfriend happy ... oppps ... someone else has the same Avatar ... haha ... may as well use my normal one then ... brb ...

I'm a senior math major and a musician in a couple cover bands. I'm new to the Alien franchise, just got into them back in August/September.

A production/shipping supervisor for Global company called PolyOne in Ontario Canada, We manufacture all different types of Polymers/Plasticizers that are used world wide ( from wire and cable applications to your car trim and the plastic for automotive parts ) Employed at the Orangeville location for 34 yrs ,( started when I was 17 ) At the age of 49, love to build and detail modeling,,,,,, you guess it, Sci Fi spacecraft , love to party, Hockey, handy man , hag in the Garage ( man cave), blasting the tunes And yes, I have teenager in the basement

HAHA this thread is hilarious. not sure if i fit in here. i am a 20-something female comic book artist, but my pen name alter ego is male. to make cash to pay for my art supplies i also make home made hand dipped candles used for voodoo rituals. i also sell certain fetish items online but i don't think i am allowed to elaborate on those here, lol. i am a reptile enthusiast and have quite a few pets. lizards and turtles/torts are my favorite. i got my first box turtle when i was 4 years old and have had reptiles ever since. i also have a couple furry pets that people find less horrifying, and im pretty into aquariums my favorite being brackish tanks. ive always been a fan of crustaceans, fiddler crabs waving around their claws will always get a chuckle out of me.

Bread & butter? I've taught audio/video/TV/film making for 30+ yrs. Hence, I sketch, sculpt, write screenplays, write & play music (soundtrack stuff mostly), DP, direct, produce, edit HD video (mostly FCP7). Co-own/produce a "Green" kid's show on PBS (in it's 3rd season). Spare time? Great wife, 4 kids, travel, fossil hunting (recently my wife & I were called in to excavate a partial Mastodon in Daytona, FL. for our local museum.). Dive, crystal mining, oh yeah... and I'm making a 9 ft. SJ costume (debuted it at Megacon 2012) with chicken-wire & masking tape. Damn... just figured out I'm ADHD!

I have a few different jobs. I'm a Quality/Mechanical Engineer by trade but; My main Profession is as a Metrology Consultant with a specialty in Robotic Automation Engineering for the Aviation Industry. (In short I make sure people go up n down safely) My secondary Profession is rehabbing homes so low income families can have a decent place to live with the economic down turn we're all having My Third Profession is driving BH crazy as a staff member here on the website My Fourth Profession is keeping my teenagers in line. (I think this is the hardest one)

I Really don't like I.T.or playing with Video Games,..So I run a Recording Suite on the Side, Mostly " Bossa-Nova" Brazilian Jazz!, and some Electronica! & Rock!. Was Classically trained in piano at 7, learned Jazz and R@B form Black Southern ministers at 16 In the US , and , Bossa nova Jazz guitar in Brasil at 25! .I was supposed to be a Doctor . I said screw it ! , So now my younger Brother took my spot, hes a Psychiatrist! now at 30!

I'm a hydraulic and electrical service literature writer. I happen to work for the company that developed the ORIGINAL P-5000 Power Loader. The only thing is the basement are mice. The partner and I live upstairs with the 3 dogs.

I'm kind of a soldier in the U.S. Army. Technically, we are all riflemen first, but I'm actually an ASCP certified medical laboratory technician, so if I have to pick up a rifle they have overrun the FOB and shit just got REAL. I work at a blood donor center and I make sure that people who get wounded in DOD environments get the blood they need when they need it. I have an amazing wife and four beautiful kids and I have been a fan of Alien since I was 9. It was mu first R-rated movie. I like movies and video games with great stories. I love mass effect and skyrim.

I am a jack of all trades, master of none lol. I have worked in a variety of fields including a spin as an officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Eventually I tired of that too and left to return to something I have have always held a special place in my heart for, and that is working with Senior Citizens as a Care Giver. What can I say, I am a much better care giver than a figher (though I was a damn good instructor)!

By day i run a small seafood market. By night and weekends, I'm a painter and photographer. Full time sci-fi nerd oO Hopefully next fall I'm in school for special effects makeup and all that jazz. Previously I was the art director for a super small and highlarious production co. i.e. my friends and I made movies together lol. Ironically, our biggest achievement looks like it will be remade with actual actors. Super stoked heh Nice to meet you all.. I am a college student studying to become a high school English teacher. I love books like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and 1984. Although the best book I have ever read is easily Dune though American Psycho comes in a close second as well as George Orwell's Why I Write. I love the Alien movies, especially Alien 3. To be frank watching these movies and trying to find out all I can about them is my hobby. Looking forward to seeing Prometheus in June.

I'm a Hedge Fund manager. I'm 36, Portuguese and in the process of moving to São Paulo, Brazil. I've travelled more than 50 countries (what you want to know: prettiest girls are found in South Brazil and Baltic countries), I'm a pretty good footballer (many of my friends might disagree but don’t listen to them) and I spend a lot of time irking neighbors by picking up my guitar and trying to impersonate Thom Yorke. I’m a huge sci-fi fan and I persistently try to talk people into reading 1984 and Dune.
