More than ONE species in those Ampules?

Maybe the ancient race had to utilize the best part of DNA from lots of species to create the ultimate weapon perhaps, you know.... the Alien. After all, they seem to have a image of their finest work carved into the wall inside the temple right! I still like my idea that the blue men are just guardians they built, that were some how activated when prometheus arrived. But that doesn't explain how the ancient race were killed and why their bones are scattered all over the floor in places. Perhaps the ancient race had a company that saw them expendable as well hehe, and gave the guardians an order they didn't expect?

Yeah I see what ya saying ... that's why there's more than ONE different mural i reckon ... as well as more Silos ... What I'm trying to get at (in a roundabout way) is the Jockeys are/were a holding 'company' for different species of alien creatures ... like an intergalactic sperm bank if you like :) ... something went very wrong and a mixture of DNA ensued and you end up with a Xeno? ... Ok I've calmed down now ... had 4 cups of coffee ...

Sure, you may be right. Either something went wrong or they planned to make a creature that could kill all others. But why the invitation symbols on earth? why lead us there? surely they have our DNA already because they put the symbols on earth to begin with right? Maybe their agenda changed or perhaps i am wrong altogether, because as we hear in the trailer, Shaw shouts "we were so wrong". There is something too menacing going on that leave me to believe that they planned to create this bio weapon, and it may not have happened by accident. this is what I figured...Imagine how different RGB values create different colours, say 255,255,255 is white. These ampules create random and different creatures based on the input code, I think this is what causes loads of parasites and life forms to burst out and run havoc, infecting their dna also

These are all good theories and i like them. They also explain the weird disgusting worms and giant tentacles. But... What about the carving of the Alien we all know and love on the wall? I can understand us tampering with the urns and releasing DNA havoc, but the alien from the original moves must have pre existed or been pre manufactured. I'm no scientist but i guess that one day we could change DNA coding as easily as colour charts. I for one would like a bigger penis XD

Maybe "We were so wrong" is actually a joke on us.Doubt it,but maybe the story is so simple they want to make fun of us.Maybe Shaw is the bad guy(girl) and the SJ has our best interest in mind?

"We were so wrong" ... in what way? ... to tamper and mess about with what they found? ... I don't think she's meaning to say they were wrong about the invitation ... But yes they wanted them there for something ... they ended up finding a chest full of gold (so to speak) and they got greedy? ...

Well the temples, silo's or whatever you want to call them are based off Giger's Harkonnen Castle (which I spotted when the first trailer came out BTW lol). Anyways, the top of Gigers HC had a human skull... Maybe each temple has a different skull on the top and a different Big Head in its ampule room... Maybe?!?

True snorkelbottom, maybe they only go in one temple and it happens to be an almost humanoid head. Imagine another temple with the aliens head inside - longggggggggg!!! Seems we have established a strong theory between us here but there are 3 major things that will never make sense to me until i see the movie: 1) The alien carving (unless the carving is different for each species temple?) 2) The ghost/hologram of the SJ/ancient being we see running (there are also 2 statues of this creature in a hallway. 3) WTF is that giant hand that grabs a crew member??? (i don't wanna believe any mind control theories either)

I dont think that the hologram is a creature......the movements perfectly match another scene in trailer of a person running away.......perhaps its how our blue man sees.....you know , like the predator sees heat. So the guy is being chased by whatever sees in ....well holoform.

I like that ... scanning & lifeform running theory ... that could be where Janek says "that's a life form"? ... because would those scanners really detect the organisms in the Ampules? ... don't thing so because the door is not open yet until David get's there and by that time the scanners have finished scanning no? ...

Also yep:

1. Different carving in each of the Silos ... I'm deffo going with my theory on that ...

2. The photo with Shaw in the foreground and them in the background? ... those statues 'could' be Jockey suits ...

3. You mean where matey is firing something at it? ...

Mark, you might be right. I had not considered that. Because it looks like someone in a space suit running, so maybe we're looking at him from the space jockey's view.

In fact....does it help if i say it is David thats running behind them recording everything he sees?

I thigk we pretty much agree that the activity all occur simultaneously (the wall change that Shaw notes (assuming it climaxes with the Xeno relief) & the activity of the ampules (dancing worm like life) ) so if they all happen at once is it b/c it is triggered by the presence of the human crew our some action they perpetrate?..are these organic building blocks that become active when near something it can or **wants to** merge with and the Xeno mural shows what that something will evolve into...in this case a classic xeno form maybe this is instantly recognizable to the SJ/Blue men as EVIL due to our humanness which is frought with good & evil and this becomes apparant in the actions of the crew as the come in contact with the goo/worms that changes them, so what you see is an enhancement of their dominant traits getting post on in the metamorphosis...the end result being the classic xeno we are so familiar with & the SJs recognize how dangerous it/we are & set out to destroy us/Earth as a result. This is in line with traditional thoughts on the xeno life in the Alien series..thus we are the original creators of the xeno. Lots of holes in this but I also think it ties some pieces together too. I do believe the Blue men are synthetics & serve same purpose as David perhaps they recognize this & work together...our perhaps I'm wrong & David has to bate them & is the "hero" of this story & mimics the David & Goliath story further drawing religious symbolism....

i thought i hear somewhere the xeno sculpture in the wall was moving? Did i get that wrong?

@ShinobiX9X ... Not the sculpture but the ceiling ... when Shaw is looking up at it the ceiling looks like it's healing itself ... and there's something in there for sure ... scroll back & forth on the ceiling ... you will see it change (animate) ...
