Anyone talked about this yet? ... I'd like to point out that the following is NOT a fetish of mine ... just trying to suss out Ridley's mind for a possible 'embarrassing' and or 'shock' factor of the movie ... he keeps on about this in his interviews ... my thoughts are as follows ...
Could it be:
1. They inseminate 'someone' not necessarily female ... (or could be both females?)
2. The goo/organism is actually Sperm
3. 'Virtual' incestual goings on
I would've thought the above would also warrant an 'R' rating ... What do you think the 'shock' factor maybe? ...

I'm not entirely sure but I have heard that the aliens in this movie are supposed to be more sexual in nature, the Xenomorph was supposed to be as well.

That the "telescope" is REALLY just a big wang like Giger always wanted it to be.

David realising that bits of him are missing and that he's not quite anatomically correct!

But seriously, it's got to be sexual in nature. That's the only thing that I could see Ridley peeing embarassed by.

"Whether these Aliens bleed acid or not is still unknown, aswell as the "second jaw" characteristic which was so unqiue to the original "Alien's". Not much is known regarding bodily features, but we do have a small grasp on what to expect in terms of behavior. These Aliens are said to act differently, more perverse and a strong sexual infleuence is hinted in recent sourced news articles regarding the film's progress."
Quoted from the Alien info on this site:
Most likely does have something to do with this, just not sure what's going to happen exactly.

I watched Blade Runner again last night, and it blew me away- again. The complexity and subtlety of the ideas portrayed in the film still holds up after 30 years, as well as RS's uncompromising style in telling the story he wants to. He's had 30 years to imagine a new world. I don't think anyone will be disappointed, as long as we are patient and trust Mr Scott.

To anyone who hasn't seen that snippet of the caesarian scene from the trailer in slow-mo, i think that scene is gonna seem "embarrassingly similar" to the original Alien scene. I think that's all he means, pure and simple. And most people haven't caught that part of the trailer yet since it goes by so fast.

@Franz ...
What I meant by the virtual incestual statement was David havin' it with a 'possible' family member ... Vickers? ... Adam & Eve? ... or some other family members (of the crew) we don't know the background of? ... anyhow I'm lobbing that out the window now lol ...
But you lot crack me up ...
Some good'ns in there though ...

@ Silica, I have not seen that scene, nor have i seen the one where David is supposedly crying. Would very much like some links PM'd to me if you can. :)

The trailer makes it clear that we'll see a continuation of the themes of psychosexual violation portrayed in the original movie. The tiny thing wriggling while it penetrates Holloway's eye, looks like nothing so much as an enlarged spermatozoa, and within her uterus, Shaw apparently gestates the same thing, or something quite similar, except for the fact now it's grown so much larger that it also resembles male genitalia. This movie is going to make us squirm in our seats while we cringe in disgust. No doubt.
