Hey folks! Have you already showed "Alien" to someone? What was the reaction? Share your experiences. I showed it to my cousin and she liked it, she found it very efficient, but what fascinated her the most was the biomechanical nature of the space jockey and the derelict...she was also impressed by the fact that the actors weren't acting in the chestbruster scene. I will also show her the sequels and will watch prometheus with her... Sorry if this there's already a post with the same purpose, I searched and I didn't find nothing. Have a nice 70 day wait!

Have you heard of phoenix asteroids? They glow in every color of the rainbow...they travel endlessly through space...

I was watching Alien while donating blood at a local drive center. And right at the chestburster scene, one of the employees walked up and said, "OMG! I haven't seen that movie in years!" It seemed that they were interested, but it was a funny reaction.

I've been pushing it on afriend for awhile...he finally said sure and we're going to watch it next tuesday...........I'l have an answer then

I showed Alien and Aliens to my best friend on the same night. He really liked them and plans on seeing Prometheus with me at midnight this summer.

Ive never known anyone say they hate it.....i know plenty that dont want to see it.....probably because of the big scene lol............but i bet if i convinced them to see it theyd love the movie as a whole. But nobody has ever said they hate it to me. Anyway, if people havnt seen it they better hurry lol.....the tv spots will start soon and the cinema ads. If i hadnt seen it before, id rather see it before Prometheus so that im up to date. Even though theres no Xenos in it. I actually now believe that Sir Ridley isnt misdirecting us.......dont expect any Xenos.......expect the unexpected lol.

My mother hates it....HATES IT....back in 79', my parents went to see it in the theater and after THE scene, she nearly threw up, had leave and watched the rest through the lobby doors......she admits it's a good movie, but CANNOT stomach it at all....she HATES it...........it's a source of constant tongue in cheek hilarity that 'Alien' is my favorite movie.....she rolls her eyes every time I mention anything related to 'Prometheus'....
