Shaw's "Baby"

Footage from the international trailer's got me thinking that Shaw becomes impregnated with the alien/serpent creature through her lover. There's a quick clip of him standing in front of a mirror examining his eye, which is infected by somekind of worm-like parasite. They obviously get jiggy with it on Prometheus as we've got a passionate kissing scene in one of the other trailers. Thoughts?
