Hi guys, I dont knwo if Any of you like me are constantly scowering the net for stuff on this film? With only just a little over 2 months to go I think I might just have to give the net a break as there is so much talk about this film (with some great ideas on the story) that I feel im gonna end up spoiling the film for myself. i think too much INFO has come out about the film and its story. i CANT WAIT TO SEE THE FILM IN ALL ITS GLORY- BUT PLEASE NO MORE SPOILERS- im guilty as hell for putting up a few articles and photos but i think we should give trying to crack the story line of this film a breater as were only gonna ruin it for ourselves. If I guessed the ploty to this film and it came out to be true i would be so devastated- 2 years of waiting for nothing! it would be great if admin spots any possible big spoilers to not allow them to be posted.just a thought- i prefer this film shrouded in mystery- as Ridley has said- this film needs you not to know! take care Luke

Well i guess the only way around it, is to avoid having a look on here or indeed other sites and youtube. Especially after the UK release because it will get discused and spoilt. As soon as The Thing came out in the US i avoided Youtube on the subject untill i saw The Thing myself or i would have spoilt the movie, like i did by looking at leaked footage of Cloverfield on Youtube before watching the Movie.

There are no spoilers except the trailers and interviews . The Empire article gave away more spoilers than us in 5 months ... whining about this forum is ridicolous and one can simply avoid to read here . The trailers ARE spoilers ...Interviews and articles ARE spoilers ...we just do some speculations and thoeries ....we are innocent ^^

There's no way to guess correctly how this movie will go at this time, but a week out from release I will go into self imposed information blackout. I'm treating this film as an event....1st day viewing, prime theater and seat....no possible information contamination....the purest experience possible. Very rare that a film qualifies as an event to me

I've yet to see anything really "spoilerish" yet. Some disconnected images and a vague bit of storyline about a star formation and ancient cultures. Not really enough to ruin a movie for me. More it make me even more curious. Though the staggered release date is going to ruin it. The Russian release a week early mean a good quality version will be floating out there. Wonder how many people give in and watch it?

Fear of spoilers is for sissies. :) C´mon, when LotR was made, everybody with eyes already knew the whole story. But the movie was superb and made a lot of money for the suits. I don´t think even the leakage of the whole actual script would make "Prometheus" suffer a lot; nobody in it´s right mind would give up of seeing the actual footage.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS** Seems to me that the latest trailer has already spoiled the whole movie. From the tralier: -Alien message -Let's go see the aliens -Alien is evil -Alien attempts to leave for Earth -Kamikaze mission to stop the alien ship succeeds at the cost of Prometheus and crew Speculation: -Atmosphere of alien world is destroyed during the fracas. -Nostromo finds what remains several years later.

@ruet Pretty good, but... Who says alien is "evil" ? Do you propose to understand what is alien? And, who's to say the "Alien" tries to take off?

centrosphere, you nailed it. How many times have we read the books (in fact, I think I read "Alien" before I saw it, IIRC) and STILL go to see the movie(s) (Harry Potter, anyone?).... We'll all be fine, no matter how much we find out. AND, most of it...yeah, MOST...will NOT be true.

When it comes out I'm going to make a thread saying "omg this happens and that happens" but it will all be bull$hit.... so when you do go see it you'll like.... "that lying *****!!!" haha
