Hello Mommy..

I really liked it. Not too much "Zimmerish" (somehow I feared that the soundtrack would sound too much like typical-blockbuster-action movie), but even weird and creepy in some ways.

ah, so that's what they call the cobra-alien. A Hammerpede (Track 11).

It's great. Not what I expected but nevertheless dark and ominous, just like it should be for an R rated sci-fi!

The track for ENGINEERS the 3rd track is very dark, haunting and you could imagine the atmosphere of getting lost in that cavernous temple, brrrr. DISCOVERY has the same creepy minimalist score that is the complete opposite of the bombastic horns of the trailer when the crew enters the temple.

The last track gives me the chills...

Possible Spoilers. The soundtrack titles shed some interesting light on the story, especially "Hello Mommy", "Friend from the Past" and "Planting the Seed". The listing is: 1. A Planet 2. Going In 3. Loving the score so far - a perfect hybird of the scores of Alien/Aliens/Alien 3 - what are your thoughts Also, the track Friend from the Past - homage to Goldsmiths Alien score MOre thoughts later - but so far, spot on!

Wow! "Hello Mommy" scared me just think about what is going to happening there! Very cool, not a typical score at all. I love the ominous horns sounding off...reminds me of Alien a bit (weird eh?)

"Engineers" is awesome. "Not Human" really reminds me of the original score for Alien Sound great so far.

I'm listening to this at work over the loud speakers stereo in cafe, this soundtrack is Amazing! Track number 11 delivers chills for sure!
