Wow! Nobody's mentioned the X-wings from Star Wars?!! Personal favorite BTW. I mean if you could have a ship or in this case a Starfighter is perfect, it's small enough to fit in most places ( garage or hangar) can travel faster than light and it has weapons!! Now where do a get dang R2 unit?

Ah the SR1 Normandy @ Flexer. I'm more partial to the SR2 Normandy II. If they ever get around to do a Mass Effect movie one can only hope it looks as good as Prometheus or has a great director like Sir Scott.

LOL I loved the new Trek Film and thought it was the best thing to Happen to Star Trek since the Original Series. And not just the design on a couple of the ships but I thought the story was SUPERB and the whole thing had the feel of an original T.V. series episode while still feeling like a Mega Major Motion Picture, the acting was fantastic, and the pace & ambiance of that film IMO were stellar.

I actually like Abrams' update to the Enterprise. I think of it as a souped-up muscle car version of the slightly more spindly original.
