MemberOvomorphApr-03-2012 7:39 PMWell the issue is when any discovery is made man proclaims at as the 1st of its kind or the beginning of whatever they find. Not the case! There is always something that came before its just a case of we havent found it or time and decay have made it unrecognizable.

MemberOvomorphApr-03-2012 8:51 PMInteresting stuff. And do keep in mind that the story of Prometheus is often considered to be a myth. Scientifically-speaking, cavemen used fire when they first saw it; they either invented it or they saw it happen like, I don't know, lightning struck a tree or something?

MemberOvomorphApr-03-2012 10:02 PMI believe first human cutting meat with sharp stone on top of a stone slab accidently litted fire on nearby grass. This would be the first fire.
Then they tried again and sucessful did. This would be control experiment using fire.
