Ridley Scott seems to be a good industrial designer too as he explains in one interview some of the vehicle design choices he made for the movie; that personnel carrier is specially nice. The design of the helmets makes a lot of sense too as you would want maximum visibility all around if the materials allowed for this. I haven't seen the movie yet BTW, but can't wait to see it.

The suit look kind of cheap in set but in the movie it seems really realistic. But what I really like is the casual urban and futuristic cloth of the crew. I'ts kind of what H&M will do in 60 years. Small SPOILERS : Some of the crew ( including David ) wear flip flop ! The ship Prometheus is beautiful and seem possible to build in our era. The inside of the ship is stunning. Some old fan of the movie Alien will recognize similarity with the kitchen. You will certainly like other device that are not show in the trailers. And there will be certainly more in the book "the art of the movie".

judging from the trailers, the ship / world that Scott has come up this time around is really intriguing and beautifully executed i am very excited for this coming friday =)
