[b]We know Shaw and Halloway had a relationship on earth we see them holding hands in the cave:[/b]

[b]The next photo will show Shaw's bruised knees in the bed with Holloway getting out of the same bed. We have seen them kissing pretty intently in the trailer a+b=dna mixer[/b]

[b]You can see while looking into the mirror at his new eye buddy that he is still somewhat normal looking so he would not have known about his biohazard problems when he and Shaw were intimate[/b]

[b]You can see the same bruise here on the knee in this MEDPOD shot that relates to the bed shot: So you can see that the growth would be rapid for the bruise to still be visible.[/b]

[b]In the leaked trailer you acually see her stomach "rise" with rapid growth: We also know that its not in her chest; so figure how it got in there??? I think this is a LARGE embryo... a+b=dna mixer[/b]

In this Show you can see the umbilicus attached to what I beleive is a Large embryo:

They have scrubbed alot of the trailers for a PG13 view some trailers have red blood some have black; but in this shot you can clearly see the Staples in shaw's stomach post removal

[b]So in conclusion: I think this is a rapid growing embryo it was created from Shaw and Halloway the old fashioned way: I also feel like this is going to continue to grow into something:

Then they large grey tenticle thing could be the Shaw Squidy thing getting lose and growning?
There is so much to this movie thats not shown or told, we have some peices to a jigsaw but then this could be a large and complex jigsaw of a movie that its hard to peice them together.

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 4:13 PMNice chronological order of events and makes perfect sense. but, the problem that seems out of place is that this creature or specie is reaping havoc, if it this very same creature, in the Prometheus ship. In that scene she has a space suit on and a axe, as if trying to kill it. Did it die when Prometheus slammed into the "Derelict" ship?

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 4:18 PMAnd the odd aspect of these events is when she collapses in front David, unknown person and an old looking person in a wheel chair. many are speculating to be Weyland himslef. There are vials on the floor, as if they are being administered to the person in the wheel chair. Maybe Halloway? The reason I say this is because his head looks swollen, unlike an older person, "out of place" if you will.

@ 40mercury I think the old man is Weyland, we have seen a closeup shot that looks exactly like Guy Pearce. His lips and jaw are very specific.
I don't think they sent just one ship. It looks like the Weyland team is infiltrating the ship with guns does it not?
There are the two ship theories on these boards..seems more likely. Also I'm sure Weyland would have brought "ANOTHER" David on his trip.

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 9:05 PMI think this satisfies some very important prereqs for making a good story. You have the romance aspect and the developing relationship between the two. Perhaps he took liberties aggressively because of his infection, before there was much sign of a problem, contributing tension to the situation. Halloway looks distraught on the bed.
And then you end up feeling bad for him. He looks quite desperate with arms outstretched, as if to say, "don't foresake me". Has a very sci-fi/horror feel, ala Alien.

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 3:40 AMThe shot with the staples for the c-section, the baby has already escaped so maybe that is how she gets the blood splattered over her. I wouldn't be if the Engineers come to get the baby, that's when we see big blue through the window. But the new worm is more powerful and opens up some whoop ass..... Gives rise to all of these theories that the Engineers have been taken over by some sort of sibiotic parrasite....

They are only seen in that one small image in the trailer..i'm guessing they working for weyland who wanted whatever was inside her. I guess condoms don't prevent alien dna from spreading. Good to know!

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 1:58 PMProgeny has nailed most of the Adaptive life cycle, progressing from the isperm which hijacks or fuses with Halloway's DNA/sperm; then the gestational form or squidly, which develops inside Shaw's fertilized egg/womb. Next comes grown up squidly or....drumroll please......the Xenomorph! Probably in the last 8 minutes as well. We are the creators of the Xeno.
