It doesnt matter what he said. Fassbender even discussed this in an interview. He said he knew the meaning of the quote cuz he had translators tell him. But that is totally irrelevant to that scene.

So many classic reponses! I was cracking up reading them. Whether or not it's irrelevant my curiosity is eating me up inside. Damn your big. That's what she said, "What"? LOL seriously this is the only part in the movie that I was like what? Its still bothering me right now because I want to know what he said to him. When they release him from stasis hes all fine. He standing next to them calm and composed next to them. But when David talks to him he really says something that pisses him off. It looks like he said something that endangered his life and was only trying to defend himself from them.

Well if it was so insignificant then they should have used some type of subtitle, It appears more as if what is said is to be a causative factor after he gently pats his head...
