Wow, I love this industrial espionage plot angle. This could be the reason why Damon mentioned PROMETHEUS being a BLADE RUNNER/ALIEN mash-up. But I think there is too much plot already on hand: aliens, mutations, interplanetary religion, genetic warfare, jeez, people, even at 3 hours, an additional plot about replicants and corporate warfare is going to overload the movie. However if this could evolve into a fuller movie about replicants in the rumored BLADE RUNNER sequel, I think that would be a wiser choice, and make for far more enjoyable movie. We don;t want an overstuffed turkey

I wish Ridley never said there may be 2 androids, I'd rather discover this after watching the film! So now I've been speculating ever since I saw this interview (think it was from last years comicon) who is second android, and I always though it must be Vickers...

Reffugee I wouldn't put too much stock in anything Ridley says or any of the cast members comments at this point. The film has the derelict space craft and the space jockey, the trailer is cut eerily similar to the 1979 film, David Glier and Walter Hill are producers, there is a xenomorph in the trailer etcetera etcetera, yet Ridley still denies a prequel saying there are only "strands" of the alien DNA in the film. They're showing their cards and denying their hand at the same time. There is even the Weylan/Weyland thing going. They're messing with us because the studio wants to distance themselves from the bastardization of the franchise starting with Resurrection and ending with the AVP films.

Given the investment Weyland is making and the amount of time spent. I think it is safe to say that everything is being recorded and sent back to earth. Question might be who (Vickers, Anroids, SF?) can tap into all of the cameras/recording devices/data?

Charlize did say she is a Weyland employee sent by the company to monitor the expedition but why send someone to monitor the expedition is the BIG BOSS WEYLAND is onboard?

I believe she is synthetic, ...but if so, she's more emotional than any synthetic i've ever seen. She looks like she is in actual terror when she's getting in the escape shuttle... Bishop hardly batted an eye-lid when he was cut in half... about crawling down a pipe? I may be synthetic, but i'm not stupid. Plus he was operating a drop-ship outside, in the wind, with those things runnning around. I know....Aliens not canon or some nonsense.... anyone notice if she sweats white while doing push-ups?

@Silica Great point I didn't notice her sweat in the push-up scene!!!! Good job! Maybe if Vickers is a Yutani synthetic spy she is made more emotional to hide her real agenda? Maybe Yutani androids aren't as good as Weyland's thus making them more faulty?

in vickers push up scene, it looks like she is wearing a similar get up to shaw in her birthing scene. maybe vickers has some sort of baby/experiment done to her as well. but then again maybe its just standard space underwear

the starmap app also has a weylad/yutani logo in the "week" 1 section. It should be the only current one unlocked. after the trailer, pictures, and gifs, keep scrolling to the right and there are two boxes with the weyland/yutani logo. nothing happens with any of those boxes though.
