at 21 to 22 seconds. As Promo is “flying” in the upper left there is another planet or moon with a star/light appearing.
Is this a moon?
Is Promo leaving Earth or flying an Earth test run?
Did the planet in Alien have a moon?

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 12:32 PMWell. when Promo lands in a big puff of dust.....if you look at the clear bit of sky above the ship youll see some sort of cross. Dunno what it is though.

A; Several. In fact- LV-426 is a Satellite planet or Moon of that system.

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 12:43 PMAFAIK, it's never made clear exactly what comprises the system, but judging from space shots in both movies, It looks like there are several smallish moons orbiting a ringed gas-giant.

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 12:46 PMThe "cross" is a simple ring system around ( what I'm presuming is ) a gas giant, seen edge-on.
