If you can just do "File Save As" off the menu at the top and you can keep your own copy man...and it's sooo worth keeping!!!

So funny, I switched iPads last month and just realized that I was missing this from iBooks from the last time you posted this, went searching through the forums finally found the old post with a dead link to the PDF, I went through all that before seeing that you just reposted it today. FML haha. Thanks again Spartacus!

Thank you so much for that Spartacus, very interesting. I probably read it even back in the day lol. I used to collect Starlog and Fangoria. I remember when John Carpenter was making the THING..........it was in Fangoria and the world just went nut for it......just like us and prometheus lol. Ive got loads of Giger stuff, i took my designs for MY alien head from the book Gigers Alien lol. Great research sourses lol.

you guys are most welcome and thanks for the thanks, it really is a Must Have collectors item, even if in a color PDF...I'd love to own an original with the missing pages but hey, it;s all good. Read it, the info in it is 2nd to none and comes straight from the source.

Thanks Sparty! A couple of months back I saw an actual copy of the this issue at my local comic book store. It was in decent condition and was going for only $10! For some reason I decided to pass on it that week and said I'd get it the next week...(after all it had been sitting there for a while and no one had bothered to pick it up.) Well of course I go in in the next week and its gone. Some one decided to buy all the back issues of Starlog. D'oh!!!!!!

thanks man, but you did in fact find it on your own which is awesome, I have posted that link several times here and do it every month or so because of the lofty value of having that document for guys like us who appreciate the Alien Franchise films.
