The still on Facebook of someone entering a chamber full of stacked ampules looks very similar to the scene from outside the ship at 1:38:08 into Alien. Sorry I can't source these images, perhaps one of my fellow obssessives will oblige?

that's it. I doubt rs 'does' coincidences. I think he's heavily mining 1979 for prometheus

It's coincidence. It's the Reactor area where Ripley shuts down the cooling units so the Mining Equipment will go critical and destroy the Alien.
