Mural: Is it a Xenomorph...or Christ?

It certainly isn't from an easter egg! An egg Yes.... symbolic foreshadowing? JEz Zeus! There are similarities between the crucifixtion of Christ and the punishment of Prometheus. Such as the percing of the liver while being bound for standing against those who would make themselves False Gods!

i don't see a cross....i do see a very phallic shape between the xeno's legs tho.....please don't throw me of the forums for my observation.......but i always notice that odd bit...probably just a play of light and shadow....and with Ciger and his odd provocative art involved....nothing would surprise me!

LOL I could care less about Alex Jones. He's entitled to say w/e he wants, even if its mostly crap. I was just bringing up the point because I know its been mentioned that Shaw's character has a deep Faith and Ridley has mentioned that their is a "God-like being(s)" in the movie (i.e. When he says the movie is about what happens when you "mess with the Gods". - I'm paraphrasing here...) Therefore, I speculate that this mural is the Engineers/SJ's trying to tell Shaw that they are our Gods. Not trying to be controversial here, just trying to discuss my speculation.

Sadly I think that this film and Starcraft share the same idea: It is obvious. The mural depicts a Xel'Naga. Does Blizzard have something to do with all this, does it exist a realtion between the company and Ridley Scott? Do they simply copy each other, first Blizzard copy RS and now he copies Blizzard Xel'Naga idea?

Yes, and if you look closely at this image or one that is lighter, there are wings on either side of this central figure. I swear. Look just beyond where its arms our outstretched.

It looks like it could be an "Alien" revealing itself. Remember in the movie "Aliens", how their secreted resin on the walls and structure of the processing station camouflaged them? Well, maybe they have a different technology or ability to stay hidden or invisible until necessary?? Ridley Scott did say in the interview with Damon Lindeloff that there would be an "Alien" presence in the movie!...frightening one too!!
