The fourth kind in Prometheus

I really like this illustration, it had crossed my mind that our large humanoid alien scientists might like to do some experimenting, splicing, pickling, probing and other kinds of nasty things in large gut sacks and tubes. I imagine that advanced Giger aliens might have different kinds of biomechanical habitats that they might like to throw humans in... to see what happens. In that universe you don't become the Borg. You eat the Borg for Breakfast! I agree, Ruhaniya, look at the things scientists do to creatures on our own planet. Even our best intentions can be a horrific event for the animal in question. Think about darting and tagging wildlife. I can imagine the SJs in the opening illustration could be experimenting, studying or even altering a human in a way that they think is helping the species. All the while ignoring his screams and cries for help. On another note am I the only one that thinks Giger is just a creepy looking person. Looking at the art and then seeing the face of the artist just makes me think "yeah, that makes sense."

Yes, totally agree with the vision of Giger is the most terrifying of all. I hope the Space Jockeys are a cold and ruthless scientists willing to do anything to carry out his cruel experiments.
