Looks like just one tentacle to me, but definitely like some kind of "mini-facehugger" as you've described...This image brings to mind one of the stories from the Animatrix animated film(the one with the Private investigator).

Another Giger image? Is that his liver...?

Now I watch that again and again - and again - as a .gif, I can really focus on just how disgusting that little beast really is - and also on what an outstanding little piece of CGI I'm looking at.
That thing looks no less real than the lashes on his lids, or that water drop running down his nose - its "tail" is even disturbing the light reflecting from the liquid in the outside corner of his inner eye - (just before it drains/dries out, just a little- of course...) - and the soft, slight shadow it's casting on his eyeball is exactly right...
I'm having to remind myself that thing isn't real.

@Nephilim
idk about the human/sj part of the image but the darker part resembles a Giger drawing listed here Your text to link here... Labeled "Primative Creature"

I'm impressed that NoxWord found the same background images in the "ceiling man" and in Giger's Alien Lifecycle...Well Done...that took a bit of work...!!!

Man that thing just makes me want to grab some tweezers and pull. It looks like a little squirmy snake that you can pull out but obviously its burrowing. Man I'm getting migraines just thinking about what its doing inside his head.

IT IS TRULY DISGUSTING! and creepy, given the facts that we know about the genre already, to start from something that small and invasive.

Doesn't look like a comfortable situation, that's for sure! A micro-organism capable of changing you? Ouch. Reminds me of the ceti eel from Star Trek! Creepie-tastic! lol

When I saw the white slithering thing in the "leaked trailer" and crewman using flamethrowers casually in the loading dock, I thought it might be some small, indigenous life-form that becomes mixed up in the SJ tech by human error. Maybe they're just testing those flamethrowers, and not eliminating vermin.....but I'm curious to find out one way or the other. One thing's for sure, there's a heck of a lot going on in this movie. A lot more than in "Alien." IMO, this is shaping up to be a very ballsy, ambitious piece.

Artyoh, I agree.
Also, it's an idea of mine that all creatures big and small may live on this planet that have nothing to do with our prior understanding of xenos etc... If I were on crew it would be expected to encounter some creatures!

Not a mini facehugger, but a tiny, little alien!!!! Really, check it out closely. The long thing wiggling around is the tail of the alien, you can see it trying to swing it and stab his eye. You can also notice the top portion looks like an alien head turning to the side. I'm serious, look at it for a while and you can see it, you can even kind of make out the mid section as the body. It's an ALIEN!!!!
Can anyone see it?
