PROMETHEUS Part 2

I have a strong feeling the reason for Prometheus and its origins is to create a sequal (not ALIEN) that has been in the works throughout Hollywood for years. The concept of Weyland-Yutani Corp, Colonial Space Marines, Androids, Terraforming and Space colonization would fit perfectly with a remake of [i]Forbidden Planet[/i]. It would fit perfectly within the realm of ALIENS. Lets assume, for the sake of argument, that the main SJ with the snorkel does not posses the prime technology in the Universe but are some sort of rogue militeristic race out to steal it and the real GOD Race is seen in the Saucer shaped ship above the waterfall in the trailer. This GOD Race could be the main antagonist in a sequal to PROMETHEUS and Weyland learns of their home planet from the Star Map which he sends a Terraforming colonization expedition. This expedition finds the remnants of the KRELL "GOD Race" of the planet Altair. I have written a draft script for such a movie and will be very excited to see if the outcome of the followup to PROMETHEUS follows this route. Please give your thoughts on my theory. This is my first post after reading you guys for a few weeks now so be gentle! lol, Thx In addition: I do not believe that for a moment a race would put directions to their home world as a warning. Why give directions at all if they did not want them to come. It would have been much easier to not leave the directions giving up the location. Does not compute, that is why I do not believe the antagonist, i.e. snorkel face, is the race that left the drawings. And also, whomever left the drawings would already know that the humans where there to read it if they found it. Huge inconsistency IMO. And, why create a race if you just want to kill them, Geez. These things are just not cohesive to the plot if the time is taken to really think about them. I must add that this will only be true if in the movie it is proven to have been a warning!
