David's role

David seems to be forming into a critical character in the new movie, but there are a lot of questions raised, for example:
1. The name David is strongly associated with the David and Goliath story. If I am not mistaken, David is considered to be a descendant of god in the Jewish religion. The death of his descendants should be followed by the first coming of the Jewish Jesus, i.e., the revival of the David line favored by god.
2. The names of the androids in the films have been in alphabetical order, Ash, Bishop, Chance (?), and now David.
3. Ash was firmly a Wayland android and pointed to corporate corruption at the expense of humanity.
4. The androids after Ash were friendly and even anti-establishment, like Chance.
5. David appears friendly to humans. He warns them that the alien ship is heading to earth.
6. The scene where David stares at his finger tip and says big things begins with small things. There is a picture of a finger in the Wayland website with a Wayland logo blended into the finger print. There is also a scene in the trailer where he has green goo on his finger tips.
7. The statement from Wayland that David is the son he never had, except he doesn't have a sole.
8. The Wayland timeline shows a patent for activating memories of a dead brain for a limited time. The creation of the David model preceded the patent. The son comment combined with this makes me wonder.
9. The Wayland website shows that androids are nearly perfected at the time of the movie. So, humans have progressed to the point of creating humans and have ceded the role of god in creating life.
10. A little looser is the mural everyone was commented on. The mural looks like the one made by Michael Angelo in the Sistine chapel where god is giving Adam the gift of life. Michael Angelo also created the statue of David, which many consider to be a prototype of the perfect man.
11. Fassbender can be a tough guy in movies. He seems exceedingly humanistic in the trailers.
Conclusions? Thoughts?
