Xenomorphs....

Thank you for the link, this was really interesting ^_^ I always saw the Aliens more as animals (kinda like ants, in a way, with the queen), so I'm hoping they won't be revealed to be weapons after all. That would be such a let-down! Also, generally I approve of the idea of the Predator and Alien being in the same universe; except that the story in both movies could have been so much better and a huge part of me refuses to accept them as Canon...

I dont really find whats so wrong? Some of you may be just big fans of the Orginal Alien.... This Alien did hunt down its victims in a more stealthy fasion... but maybe because it was on its own... If you went to Afghanistan and was stuck behind Enemy lines on your own, you would be much more cautious than if you was with a Platoon of 6-10 Troops. What really is different with the Egg and Face Hugger from Alien to all the other movies inc AVPs.... nothing. The Alien in Aliens and all movies after inc AVP acted pretty much simular. The Idea of a Queen made sence. The way that the Face Huggers Embryo it implants into a Host takes on its hosts DNA and mixes it with the Xeno DNA is again a sound idea. Dog Alien, Pred Alien all make sence as the Embryo creates a Hybrid of what ever it impregnates. Ok the Story Lines and Time Lines went a bit far fetched. Some have problems because they never consider the Predator to be in the same Universe as Alien and thus make AVP none Canon. I think the AVPs needed a better Story, one in with the Alien 3 Time Line and a better director and they could have worked. For me Alien Resurection was the one that never made much sence.
