Thou shall not See

Head does have eyes - (eyelids, representation of solid iris; no apparent representation of pupil) - they are just in deep, deep shadow.

It does not necessarily lack eyes...the room's sole light source is directly above it, thus, casting shadow over the eye sockets.....we haven't seen any angle's close enough or from a low enough angle to make that determination either way.....

If you look at the poster it looks as if the eyes have been removed or defaced. By whom or for what reason I'm open to suggestions.

I saw a processed shot, which was brightened up enough to see that the eyes look like carved stone, with inset irises......but that doesn't mean they couldn't layer effects over the eyes or entire head, if they wanted to.

@karthago36 I think that may be an optical illusion, perhaps aided by a little processing in that area. I don't know. Judge for yourself by comparison with the pic I'll attach that someone brightened. The eyes [i]could[/i] be closed in the shot you link to, or just as well be as open as they seem to be, here, in the shot below... I'm doing a sculpture of this and I've stopped at the eyes for this reason. Not sure if they're open with eyeballs or hollow or closed. That pic of them where they seem closed is scary. If they're closed and they open at some point, it'll be akin to the Talos sequence in Jason and the Argonauts.

Knowing the head moves, now i want to see the eyes moving :@. haha, we'll see.
