Also, while I am referencing the above link, when you zoom in on the float/orbiting globes in the holoroom, the large globes are not planets, theyre galaxies, and the smaller bubbles have a lot of U shapes in them.

When I read,"galaxies", I got a chill down my back. I hope they are...
But then, galaxies are not generally spherical like this...and what the Hell would these gigantic indicated orbits, around galaxies then be supposed to represent?!......
I'm still joining you on "galaxies", 'though - I don't presently give one damn if it's wrong: just the idea of the pure and ridiculous scale of that is making me happy.

Inside the globes you can see the galxies central buldge and faint sprial arms. I've always thought that there are much larger SJ ships orbiting the universe and the Derelict type ships periodically connect and exchange dna/life forms from their sectors of the universe. The thin circular lines are the larger ship paths across the universe. I think RS cand crew may have gotten the idea for drawings in the Voynich Manuscript.

I'm with you - and yes, I did hurt my eyes for some time after I posted - it's poor resolution at Super Zoom, but yes: they could easily be galaxies, contained with a spherical shell....it's almost literally insane.
I hope it is, exactly, as you say.

The scope of the map could be an explanation of why space jockeys are few and far between and why they didn't hang around Earth very long. If they are spread out among different galaxies it could very well be that they find a likely planet, do their thing, set up the waystation for that sector and then move on. Maybe there is no nucleus, so to speak, or homeworld of space jockey culture. Maybe they are inherently nomadic.

Yes, space jockeys could likely set up shop for each galaxy. Collect samples or whatever they do and make a portal or whatever to quickly move back and forth to each sector.
This is where Ridley can literally do whatever he wants and where this movie can easily be made into a series as long as he only answers the questions we need and leaves the unsanswered for another day which is what he has done since day one.
This movie is Big in more ways than one!
