i think its good i have yet to see trailer that has given the whole story.....i think the trailers and discussion will enhance the prometheues experience....at least for me...it allows for the imagine to evolve with different strands of ideas like the alien dna ....lol......and you have to keep in mind there are movies where many of the scenes from the trailers never make it into the final version.

Relax...you haven't seen and don't know what really matters....just go offline when the film opens

Spoiled you are!
I'm loving the new stuff - the quality of visuals - from perspective, to composition, to lighting and color, and of sound - voice and foley, is amazing.
I think the only way to have a classic Alien experience in the theatre is to get off all discussion boards now, ignore all trailers, and avoid all discussions on the subject with friends.
In 1979, there were 12 channels on TV, and the only way to see a movie trailer was to sit in a cinema, or happen to catch the trailer on TV. None of this on-demand Interweb stuff.

I followed all the trailers & virals & youtube vids from TDK, and was still surprised that TwoFace died.
Heres hoping for more suprises at the viewing.

Beyond......that's exactly what it was....the egg poster, a months notice....and then the massive surprise assault...basically no warning.

@Forever war
What's so amazing to me is that my favorite SciFi movie director of all time has come back to expand the Alien Universe in his 70's. I sure hope he gets a Blade Runner expansion out before he tires of movie making entirely. I'd given up on any more adult SciFi of that quality, my senses dulled by Star Trek 12 and Star Wars 6 (3?).

Watch and enjoy everything that´s released to the fullest, because it´s all planned and designed to give you the ultimate experience, when you finally watch the movie in all its glory. I don´t wanna miss a single thing - this is the marketing campaign for a sci-fi movie from Ridley Scott! So grateful to be part of it, in here, on facebook, everywhere!

@beyond
You took the words right out of my mouth there, and before all this got rolling with Prometheus, I can't be the only one who read him speaking about a Blade Runner sequel....a Ridley style sequel , that is...probably not Deckard or Rachel, but in the realm of those themes, maybe. Kinda like Prometheus' world....the peripherals, the enviroments and neighborhoods...I dunno.
I could go on and on about that, its just such a massive high having him back.
