David and the Proto plasma

In the latest featurette (extended), we see David extracting the bio plasma or what ever its called, then we see him staring at a single drop as he says his now well known line "Big things have small beginnings". When you look at the droplet on the tip of his finger it is black and not green like the contents of the urn. This tells me that the grayish green goo is nothing but insulation or a protective phlegm that covers four mini urns that can be seen through the goo when back lit. Inside the smaller urns there might be live specimens. In another shot of the same featurette we see one of the urns explode as if its contents wished to get out. My theory is, the urns don't contain DNA, but a live liquid being that infects and mutates its host, similar to "The Thing". David now staring at the droplet ingests the drop to mutate into a more organic being rather than to remain synthetic. Before doing this, Vickers attempts to stop him as we see in the IMAX trailer, then he pushes her, gets past her to convert himself into a perfect Bio-mechanic being. That's who we see entering the pilot's chamber now transformed into a "Superior species" and that's who we see attacking Shaw. Your thoughts?
That's who we see entering the pilot's chamber now transformed into a "Superior species" and that's who we see attacking Shaw.
I don´t think the pilot chamber guy and the guy attacking Shaw are the same being because of their obvious difference in size. At which point in the featurette do we se an urn exploding? We see something exploding in the new international trailer, but that doesn´t seem to be an urn - more the contents of the helmet they scan. That said, I like your idea. But so many things has been published about the Engineers/Space Jockeys appearance, that I am pretty sure the guy entering the pilots chamber is an Engineer/Space Jockey.

Well, considering David is a key player in the movie/plot, i think you are getting close. David is absolutely, no doubt, the "mechanical" aspect of the alien we know. So wait....are you saying that the jockeys are a big giant species, but a small person can "morph" into 1, but at a smaller size? This is confusing me. I think something released grows into a jockey. The reason we never see the jockeys faxce in thew trailer, is because they all look different. Only time we see the face is when the jockey is walking ot the chair via the preview.

@Visualizer, the exploding urn is @1:49 on the Launch trailer..sorry The scenes are cut to make it look like its the SJ head exploding. But if you stop it at the right moment its definitely not a head, urn more like it.

The urn also looks more like a head there's a nice thread on that somewhere with outlines. It's not an urn but a human looking head from the temple.

The exploding something is discussed here too with stills from the trailer Doesn´t look like an urn to me at all, looks more like the remains of something. No one can say whether the explosion relates to the scene with the SJ helmet scan or not, but I think it does.
