Ive been spending my morning analyzing all the shots i can get of the jockey/sj helm, and the fellow in the chair. Whats weird is if you put the cobra on the bald guys mouth area, combine that with the "skull cap" piece of the pilot chair (seen in the wide shots), you get the jockey helm. It you compare the images of the "new" pilots chair, you can see there is a groove that the skullcap piece can slide down and rotate to cover the top and front of the Engineer's head/face. It looks as if it interlocks with the head AND the cobra attached to the mouth (seated jockey shot). Any thoughts?

Nice idea......but probably not because the tail on the cobrathing is smooth and not ribbed.

The more I look to the "cobra", the more I´m convinced that the correct word to name it would be "worm". It´s mouth apparatus is definitely non-reptilian...

@ Mark Yeah i though of that too but if all three "dna's" (the ship's, the jockey's, and the xeno's (cobra)) are being being combined its possible it would take on the pale bone segmented look as an "alchemy" of the three. You can tell the "suit" is a different color and texture once the jockey is in the chair.

If this was mentioned before sorry for the repeat. This exploding head from the jockey helmet, could be the fella walking along the falls/river with the head area morphing closed. The Prometheus's crew studies his remains from the planet. So he is is literaly turned apart like Prometheus/mythology and out comes the terror for which man will suffer from. The king has his rein and then he dies. It is he who helps create man kind and suffers from the biomechanics of the jockey race. We suffer again from the same fate.

Yeah Cypher you was ona rampage yesterday lol. Bet u upset some guys, who was trying to post... But they need to understand that to many threads can cause problems on the site and stuff that has been discussed many times before over and over can clog up the site. The search function is a great addition and your team are working very hard. Yes having a site that can maybe show and filter threads by most recent posted reply would be nice, as i think the reasons people open new threads about a old subject is if they comment on a old one from days ago they may get no replies or cant debate on it as they would. What would be nice if it had sections, where one could be where Spoilers are posted with a Sticky that descripes what is a Spoiler. I.e anything in the offical Trailers and discusions would not need to go in there. But any thing with clues from shoot scenes, props, images that show how important main characters died etc should then all go in Spoiler section. But i understand thats not a simple task and the team are doing a hard job as it is.

Am thinking that head belongs to a crew member and The "Cobra" is actually a Headburster???

At first I thought that the head had the same kind of "veins" we see on the blue guy at the waterfall. But know I think that the cracked material isn´t the head, but the helmet. Maybe when they subject the helmet to the MRI, the helmet cracks down revealing the head inside. If so, the face we see is the face of a space jockey...finally.

...and he looks just like the the big stone head... just like they said it would.

Nah, I am convinced that head is what they found inside the SJ helmet, I could be wrong but I really don't think so.

that first pic is insanely disgusting 0.o thats a great pic, i couldnt really tell what i was seeing in other images of this. i would have whapped that cobra thing with a stick, not try to pet it! geez
