MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 6:11 PMi am alone on this? they should make a movie about newt's survival. i know there is a comic book on it. i think it would be creepy and scary. imagine being a kid all alone and losing everything then becoming prey to the xeno's.

MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 6:34 PMHoooo... and Alien Outbreak! And Nightmare Asilum!
Don't think that's ever gonna happen though, those stories would only appeal to fans like us, I'm guessing.
By the way; completely different movie: anyone else thinks John Byrne's "The Man of Steel" would turn out a great stand-alone Sci-Fi movie?

If you havn't read it, do! Forget about Superman, just great Sci-Fi, IMHO!

MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 6:36 PMHehe, guess I'm in the wrong foot here; wrong comic!

MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 6:46 PMI own both comics. LOL. I think I own EVERY Alien comic and different cover-art and edition ever made. 1st Edition of Alien #1 BABY!!!!! My crown jewel.
Anyway.....I don't think there is enough material with Newt's "adventure" to be made into a movie. Maybe a 60 minute made for TV syfy special.

MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 6:56 PMThey are both sweet, no doubt (guess its the first time I use "sweet" to describe anything Alien...)
I envy you @abordoli!!! I lent both to a guy I knew from the gym back as a teenager; then he vanished, and so did my books...
(no facebook or cell phones back then! damn, no internet in the first place!!!)
I now have e-versions, that's all...
Any way, I agree! Newt's story is great, but too thin in material for a movie.

MemberOvomorphMay-03-2012 7:12 PMI do believe I have duplicates because I used to always buy two due to the ravenous effect of oils on one's fingers. If there is something that you're wanting in particular I can pull them out and see. I'd let my read copy go for what I paid for it. PM me if interested though I have no desire to make any money from my good fortune. If someone enjoys it/them then I'm happy to share and make new friends.
