The funniest (involuntary) comment I've ever heard about Guyver was from a kid passing by a vinyl model my friend had painstakingly painted and proudly exhibiting at a comic convention: Look Mum!!! Lord Zedd from Power Rangers!!!!!! My friend died a bit inside that day...

Giger put out a book containing pics of as many Giger inspired tattoos that he could gather. Thanks to a kind staff member here, I have a 28 page .pdf file and Giger interview in regards to this, but you'd have to PM me your e-mail address if you're interested in me sending it to you. It contains LOTS of existing Giger tattoo images. Any e-mail addresses PM'd to me will be held in strict confidential.

I like the outline so far. I assume might urge you put a bit more red in it than you might otherwise be planning. I saw a fresh tat yesterday kinda like this and it had some awesome reds in it. Looked amazing! I might be getting a new tat soon myself. Possibly Giger inspired.

The red'll go on first, then the creature detail over that so the red'll stand out more. The eyes I'm going to get her to do silver along with the other bits that usually are like the two motion detectors on his head, the head laser and gravity orb in his waist. The armor is going to be a shaded black so you can see the detail in it :-D we've got it all planned out. Thanks guys! NoX, that's SOOOOO un-cool! I hate what Pokemon and DragonBall have done to kids! Gotta get me some of those vinyls though :-P

Giger-inspired tats could be totally sick, if they were really well executed. Can you imagine a full body suit of biomecha..........oh yeah, we don't have to, do we? ; )

now I know "Guyver Zero" and "H R Giger" are completely different people, but hey, if your tattooing why do the CHILD's THING Why not go for the ADULT VERSION !!!

@Cypher, and my apologies I just meant that a GIger "tatt" seems more serious to me than any robotic hero..just mY HUMBLE HONEST OPINION BRO.

That's OK Spart, I love Giger but I'm also a huge fan of the Guyver. And it isn't really for the kiddies in my opinion. I discovered it when I was about 13. And it isn't robotic, it's an organic weapon that actually bonds with it's host. Have you ever seen any of the anime? The story is very like Prometheus' in that aliens created us, but as a weapon in a war they were in. They then tested one of their own organic spacesuits, because that's basically all a Guyver was to them, on their new human creations, and lost the ability to control them with their minds that had been genetically built into us, so they called the experiment "Not to specification," "Out of Control," or in their language, Guyver. They used a Unit Remover on the human deleting the users imprint from the control metal (that keeps the parasitic organism from destroying the user) for the Units and incinerated him after he fucked shit up for the Creators. Then they left. There were also 2 live action films done, the first was shit but the second was a lot darker and the costumes were pretty damn good, even today I still think they look cool for what they were.

@Cypher, Do you own all the Guyver animes, because I've got most if not all and I was going to give them to GoodWill (just taking up space)?
