the reboot was so bad.....i thought predator two was a little off but entertaining, but the reboot is awful. they need to scrap that one and give the franchise another go...question now is did the engineer make the predators also....its seems if this is true the xeno predators and man all have agressive destructive natures is this what the enigneers intended and if so what are their natures like.....man sorry shaw holloway janek vickers millburn fifield david chance ford ravel and the rest doesn t look good :(

No, the engineer didn't. Predator and the Xeno only exist in the same universe in a series of shitty crossovers. I don't think anyone involved with prometheus will ever touch that garbage with a 10 foot pole. In trying to create a new franchise ignoring some of the worse movies ever made is probably for the best.

The premise is valid - whether you want to call it a joke or not. Reason it out: The Engineers are less than a match for the Predators - a species/culture based on warrior mentality. What better way to fight your enemies than build a weapon (or bio-weapon in this case) that kills your enemy for you? It is actually the logic I used to explain why they created the Alien / Xenomorph species to begin with............ If not as a weapon, why else would they create the Alien species??
