This plot has been around for months, and it has been kind of debunked as a fake tentative plot ever since. But I guess that until we see the movie we won't know.

That's not a plot? It's sounds identical to a piece of a loose basis, as used by John Spaihts for something else he wrote. As: 1] I doubt Spaihts is a man who would be unable to come up with something new around the loose and general themes of, "Terraforming", "Resources" and "Conflicts", and 2] we [i]already[/i] know that Prometheus seems to start from another perspective altogether - "Ancient Aliens/Visitation/Creation(?)", not "Resource War" - personally, I'd doubt this has anything at all to do with Prometheus: apart from some very loose and general connection in the themes of "Terraforming", "Resources" and "Conflicts".

in the weyland industries timeline it states yutani is a rival, nothing more is discussed. prometheus is about weyland not yutani. prometheus is about Peter weyland becoming God and the consequnces that follow, Peter Weyland is the key in the whole thing he will become a God in the movie at the expense of the whole crue and the engineers he will become God. Thats why he built David because he is an inferior version of the engineers and he becomes like them and surpasses them when he steals their tech.

sounds like the plot outline 2 creature/ titan find. funny cuz that was a alien clone with the twist of the alien turning the crew on eachother under its control.
