AdminEngineerMay-08-2012 2:16 PMAs of June 8th, 2012 I will be adding a new forum which will be specifically for Prometheus Film reviews. Anyone can post one when the time comes. Spoilers included if you wish.
I will be doing a fairly lengthy one for the site and it will be filed under our articles selection and [b]will[/b] contain spoilers. Our official review should be online by June 9th, or 10th at the latest. We will do our best to include as much info as possible and really give you the guts of what Prometheus was all about.
This is a thread to basically let everyone know what is to come and that if you would like to post a review, we would ask a few things of you when the time does come:
1- Reviews use proper grammer and minimal profanity
2- Reviews are long enough to grasp attention. (ie. no two line reviews, we would like to see more lengthy reviews instead!)
3- Negative reviews (if there are any) are allowed, but do be respectful when you write it up. (Personally I doubt there will be any negative reviews as this film looks fantastic, but just in case, please follow these guidelines.)

MemberOvomorphMay-08-2012 2:50 PMWould it not be better to start it from June 1st? It opens here in the UK on that date. It might stop GENUINE spoilers, for those who cannot watch it until the 8th, being placed elsewhere on the forums after that time.

I would hope that our brothers (and sisters) from across across the pond can refrain from posting ANY actual "movie spoilers" until the 8th anywhere on any site. If you post it, it WILL be viewed, and it WILL spoil the movie. People won't be able to help themselves...Right?

AdminEngineerMay-08-2012 9:36 PMActually, no it makes sense. Okay, since you lucky UK fans get to see it first - feel free to post your reviews in the review board. I will open up the forum for the 1st of June. I'll need a UK staff member to moderate it as I don't want to spoil the film myself! Haha Any UK Staff, PM me.

MemberOvomorphMay-09-2012 11:13 AMCan a regional IP lock/filter be installed during that week? Just a thought. I'm just worried that non-UK fans are going to be too tempted. What about a big electronic wall like a 10 question quiz that youu need to answer 100% correctly in order to get in (easily answered if you've seen the movie), just for that week?
We've also got the issue of newbies posting in the main area with spoiling titles. Can new threads be reviewed by UK moderators before being made viewable?
I know this is a lot to ask, but we do have 3 weeks to do something....possibly.
If not, this site might become a ghost town between 5/28 thru 6/7.

MemberOvomorphJun-13-2012 2:25 AMI just saw Prometheus for the first time and absolutely LOVED IT!!,,Its exactly what i hoped it would be and not just a monster movie,it was definitly made for fans of great scifi,,and the 3D was excellent!!
