Derelict/Juggernaut - Seductive Intergalactic Predator

I previously posted an idea that the Derelict/Jockey was a living, bio-mechanical, sentient, female creature. My imagination being as active as it is has since expanded the idea... Firstly what if the Derelict/Juggernaut requires a living pilot to fully function, and ensnares such an individual through some form of infection, which creates an empathic bond between the vessel and the prospective pilot in which the vessel seduces the pilot in terms of knowledge, power and of course sexually. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, it may be possible that Holloway becomes a Space Jockey/Engineer. So my idea may not be too far fetched, and maybe we see something similar in Prometheus, maybe. Secondly, what if the pilot of the Derelict/Juggernaut on LV-426 was a traveler from a distant world that happened across a planet like the one in Prometheus and became the pilot of the aforementioned Derelict/Juggernaut, but once connected to the vessel the vessel became aware of the pilots home planet and decided to target that planet to be host to its deadly cargo of Alien/Xenomorph eggs. The pilot becoming aware of this deactivates the laser-mist protecting the eggs allowing him to be sensed by a facehugger and inevitably attacked. Without a pilot the Derelict/Juggernaut was forced to land on a nearby, primordial planet before activating a beacon knowing that any lifeforms travelling within the vicinity would curiously investigate, thus sealing their fate. This would explain why the signal was inactive in Alien's - the Derelict/Juggernaut was aware that its beacon snare had succeeded, and thus shut it down to save energy.

It simply wasn't mentioned in Aliens. That's all.

I like it Snorky, because to do so, she would have to KILL Vickers and I am almost certain she will.

Regards the derelict on LV-426, what I'm basically saying is that the pilot committed suicide to save his own world from the wrath of the derelict

ITs a great idea that would have been very probable ( and fascinating ) if related only to Alien ..its seems just not work well with prometheus , the new mechanic look , the Engineers/gods affair and what we can speculate over the trailers seems to exclude that the ship is something "alive" . But who knows ...

Perhaps the Juggernaught come Derilict has in some ways become a predator trap. Ensnaring anyone, or thing, who happens by the planetoid world. 'He' (the Space Jockey) could have perhaps become either ensnared in it or he was the instigator of itat the get-go for what ever reasons. Aarrogantly trying to control life forms in the universe and life forms in general, nature in general (Maybe! The Xenos could still bio-engineered! We'll see!) He may have been trying to be like Ingen of Jurassic Park I thought too. But here he may have inadvertantly created a 'predator trap'- like situation with him being the first 'victim' and later on down the line more would follow. Inevitably tempting the Nostromo to then come and intercept it. And thus, for them, the rest is storyline/cinematic history! Just thinking/working hypothosis.

Well nice idea but i amnot sure about that. Yes the one Space Jockey looks small compared to Shaw, i.e does not look like 7ft+ But the Actor who plays the Engineer in close up scenes is only 5ft10" its said they use his face for close up face shots and other shots when the Humans are interacting with the Engineers they use 7ft+ actors. So maybe this was a blooper by Ridley, that instead of doing two takes with two actors, i assume after Shaw sees the Engineer we get to see a close up of his face. Maybe instead of shooting the scene with Large Actor then do another shot with the smaller actor they just used that smaller actor in the scene with some speciall effects. That would explain why he did not look as massive as the other shots. Then again we cant rule out Holloway turning into a Jockey, i dont think thats the case but you cant rule it out. I will however add that the guy in the chair compared to the chair is the same size as the Blue Guy walking upto it and thats about 9ft mark. So unless Holloway grows to 9ft it think we can rule that out. You make a Fantastic Point about the Becon on the Ship, how can a Ship become so damaged and lose its becon 40-50 years after Alien, when it could been there at least 30 years prior to Alien but maybe many many hundreds of years.
