Like thousands of other people out there I am anxiously waiting to see this movie. Never have I been this excited about a movie before in my life. For the past 2-3 months I have spent more time checking this website for updates than doing anything else (it's kinda pathetic but I'm not ashamed). So seeing that Prometheus comes out June 1 in the UK this website will no longer be the same after that. It's going to turn into spoiler central and I definitely do not want to spoil this movie for myself. I know that if I come onto this website after that midnight showing I'm not going to be able to stop myself from reading every spoiler I can get my hands on. Hopefully I can find some way to go into hypersleep for those 8 days.

Don't worry you are not alone. I have to wait till june 8th and come june 1st I will have to gain some self control and stay away from this site for a week. Its not gonna be easy, I foresee myself going through some kind of withdrawal.

my bf has the count down memorized apparently. every time i say " why is it taking so long i want to see it!!!! ugh its killing me!" now he says "dont worry, it only has # days left". but i keep stating "THATS STILL TOO LONG!" no matter how small the number gets hehe.

Maybe a good way is to stay busy...watching Ridley Scott's movies. Yesterday evening, I've been watching Alien with the commentaries. Also, I've been watching Black Hawk Down lately; the visuals and the editing is simply amazing!

I live in the UK and 33 yrs has been too long... now I'm considering either hibernating or trying cryogenics and just putting my head in the freezer!

I'll be watching one or two of Ridley Scott's films as well. Maybe even Legend. A lot of people I know didn't like it, but I thought it was fun. Tim Curry was good in it -- it was a look he should have stayed with.

i live now in this shitty little town in South Africa with my Mother since i got retrenched.....and the only theater in town is like 2 months behind in their releases...(and no 3D theaters either).....so i have to go visit my sister in Johannesburg...the big city where i was staying for the last 15 years..(till i got retrenched)....i get a lot of freelance work and I plan to move back next year....but I am seriously contemplating this trip just to go see Prometheus on it's release....and of cause seeing all my friends...actually setting up this huge get together on facebook.....weather they sci-fi fanatics or not.....I am making sure they will be their for the grand opening......
