Yeah, I saw it in the beginning of Lockout which blew salty balls(Die Hard meets Blade Runner my ass!) and Avengers. It seemed everyone went quiet like you said but I thought it was just in my head because I'm so into it. I was left wondering if it had the same impact on others as it did me. I actually asked a few people after the film. Some knew about it and some didn't but most said they were very impressed. I hope it brings casual, non-alien fans to the theatres.

LOL. I only stepped out of a movie once in my life. And that was "the last of the Mohicans" And I fell asleep all through "Pocahontas".

the only movie I almost walked out of was "passion of the Christ"....it had nothing to do with my religious beliefs (i am agnostic) ...but the endless torture on that cross was so sickening to me....actually felt nauseous while watching it.....not a pleasant movie to watch! I fell asleep while watching the last terminator movie.....tho i was a bit pissed ....saw the whole movie later on dvd....i can see now why i fell asleep...tho the movie was'nt that bad...but not great either!

..I´m not the biggest Mel Gibson fan, and he is known as a quite die hard catholic, but passion of christ is an unforgettable movie, pretty gory.. Apocalypto is very good, too from Mel Gibson.. I just watched [i]seeking justice[/i] with Guy Pearce..as a head of an underground operating mafia like organisation that seeks bloody revenge for unjust crimes..great watch..

I fell asleep while watching: Star Wars - The Phantom Menace Iron Man Babylon A.D. Transformers I didn't bother watching the sequels (where applicable). I hope Prometheus is in a league of its own.

Yeah, that Passion of the Christ is a watch once only picture isn't it? Much better was The Last Temptation of Christ by Michale Scorsese. When I was watching The Passion, there was a chap having a. . . well, lets just say it wasn't cricket.

I "used" to be, in my younger days (18-20), an avid "movie theatre sleeper". I think it had to do with working full-time & going to school full-time (not to mention other energy-consuming activities : P ). It was typically the best sleep I ever had.

I am usually wide awake when watching movies.....dvd's is another story....i always take them out and start watching them really late and then fall asleep....I have returned so many dvd's without seeing the full movie...yesterday i saw "the darkest hour'....wich was....ok -ish and "tin tin" wich i watched this morning.....actually kinda cool.....tho i could not get myself to concentrate to much....so i feel like i missed some of the story.....i felt the same way after watching all the pirate of the caribean movies....accept for the first movie witch i absolutely loved.....the others...nah...i would actually go as far as saying they were shit!

ah....so cool you got to see the trailer for PROMETHEUS in 3D! i do wonder, for folks who aren't into ALIEN / sci-fi in general, does this film hold some kind of appeal / curiosity for them, or are they just not really impressed at all - - in spite of how incredible the 3D trailer looks...? in any case, i am going to stave off from seeing any films that are showing the PROMETHEUS 3D trailer, i hope that when i FINALLY do see the actual film this coming June, that i will pretty much be in complete awe when i see the awesome sounding 3D effect for the first time can NOT wait...! thanx for sharing your experience, and validating what so many others have said about the trailer

it wasn't even in 3d was in 2d even at that it was EPIC!! 3D though can no wate. Niver felt like this for a film... iv even dreamed that iv seen the film! Sad iknow but i dont care lol my gfs like WTF stop talking about PROMETHEUS lol!
